I used the the small white plastic tube that slides into the engine oil dip stick. I wrapped electrical tape around end to make it fit into bigger black rubber tube. The white one is probably 1/4 inch diameter. it worked good you can move it around once in the transmission to get all fluid out. Warm up the transmission and it comes right out no problem. I use the electric oil extractor mounted on 2-1/2 gallon bucket. I don't see why the hand pump one would work.
