I have a 320 07 Sea Ray with Electric Hatch Actuator 1766064, ACTUATOR, ELEC HATCH 18”12V INLIN QUIETR, per the parts manual. I tried contacting Sea Ray via their website, but they sent me to MarineMax and have not heard a response. I am looking for a replacement part, and I have determined the stroke length and length with retracted, but what I am not sure of is the Force needed to lift the hatch. The Actuators on the market seem to come in sizes ranging from 500 to 2000 lbs. But I was hoping to know what the current one is so that i don’t over-buy... Anyone have any ideas? Currently, my starboard side actuator is providing the entire force to lift the hatch, the port side is just along for the ride and getting pulled.

This is the person at QMI that helped me last year, her name is Shelly -ssajewski@qmigroup.com - important to get it from them as it needs to be ignition protected - they may need some numbers off the unit itself - or some specific measurements IIRC

maybe you should get a matching pair, so they run at the same lift speed and help each other as opposed to one being dragged and one doing all the work.
Thanks, I’m pretty sure that is what I will have to do. I’ll check this weekend on access to the starboard side.

I’ll try to get numbers from the starboard side, crappy boating weekend, wind + rain down here, so work day. The port is almost completely destroyed from corrosion. I know it’s an 18” Stroke, just need to ensure it fits when retracted and I’ll measure the connection points as well and clearance left to right.

Damn you guys. I have posted the oem a million times. When you call you own a Regal

I need a sticky moderators!!!!

I am at a bar having a beer. When I get home I will hook you up Todd. :)

the one I posted is the oem - acculift (at least for my '05 300 it was) and they had no problem selling it to me knowing it was for a sea ray

I searched, but I searched on the wrong keywords. Should have tried the part number, 1766064 (might have done this and entered it incorrectly), I do recall turning up a thread on an older post from 2010, but the replacement part was for a 340, and the original part on the 340 was slightly different, so I wasn’t certain of the match. I did just find your 2019 post for this EXACT same part number, with all the contact information!

Todd, I have your same boat and I have an extra new actuator. I'm in Treasure Island. PM me.

Hey all - just a question about where on your boats are the quick release pins? On my boat someone in there wisdom has removed and used bolts....great idea until the lifters fail!!

Im thinking they should be in lower of this photo...https://imgur.com/a/zOBx0yN

Can you guys confirm where they are installed on yours?

Good luck contacting the QMI. I tried for 2-days to call, sent several emails, and left several voicemails. Shelly at ssajewski@qmigroup.com is the person to contact if you can. Have never been contacted. All of this 3-4 weeks ago. Not sure what is up with these people. Bought the ones on the link above from Amazon and perfect match.

Has anyone had in success getting a replacement for the engine hatch lift?

Read my post above.

I am not sure that the part that you mention will fit my boat, a 2011 Sea Ray 330/350 Sundancer. I checked the parts manual it is a different part number than that of older boats.

you need to measure the stroke distance of the cylinder. Mine are 18”. Try to call Shelly and give her the info off of yours.
