Electrical drownings on Cherokee lake Tennessee.

I just read that sadly the 2nd child has died as well. Very tragic.

Very sad, indeed. I didn't learn until recently (within the last year) of the dangers of it. I always thought that the readon for the no swimming signs at dock was due to the boat traffic.
 
We had 3 electrocution deaths this past weekend at Lake Of The Ozarks. The preliminary reports are that they were the results of improper dock wiring. But remember that this stray voltage can come from improperly wired boats as well.

Based on the research I've done on this subject, this is a fresh water problem only. Because salt water is such a good conductor there has never been a reported case of stray voltage electrocution in salt water environments.
