Electronic iggy conversion PerTronix or Sierra?

Have a 1981 mercruiser 5.7 that I want to convert from the points/condenser style to electronic.

Anyone have experience with either of these brands? Any recommendations or warnings?

Personally, I would do a drop in marine distributor. But the choices are many. Go to JEGS racing and Summit racing and look at the ignition section.

Pertronics would be my choice over sierra.
