I am hoping that someone can lend some insight to an intermittent problem that I am having. Occasionally, the hour meter on my STBD engine (digital) will continue to run when the engines are off. It happens occasionally and usually occurs after the engines have been shut down as opposed to before they are started.
The marina has replaced the tachometer (containing the hour meter) twice thinking that it is was an internal malfunction, but it has not solved the issue. Obviously I can prevent this by shutting off the keys at the power panel, but I would like to fix the problem itself.
Has anyone experienced this or heard of this before? :huh:
