Engine cutting out

97 Sundancer 370 with injected 7.4 blue water motors. The boat runs great cruising around 3200 rpm but after bringing it up to 3800+ after a few minutes of cruising the starboard motor cuts out and shuts down. The motor will start fine after this. Could this having something to do with a high or low fuel pressure pump?

Start simple. Look for water in your separators.

Few experiences, ignition sensor in distributor can do that, once also had kids messing with boats at dock and they had unscrewed all my fuses at the helm on an older boat, every time I hit a good wave engine cut out. That was a good one, as they seat fine at rest and only jump out in rough wave hit. Anything loose can do that, run it and start tapping to recreate it at dock maybe would be a good use of time
