Own a 99 Sundancer 270 and need to replace the engine hatch struts. Manual shows a part # of 864173 along with 120 psi, 26.3 ext. & 16.1 comp. Have no issue locating the correct sized struts but aftermarket struts are 20lbs, 40lbs and so on. Not finding anything with a PSI rating. Anyone know what LBS rating would be used for the large engine hatch? Don't want it coming open in rough waters with a to high rated strut and don't want to kill myself with one that will not assist and stay open!
