Engine room hatchlift stuck open 420 Sundancer

420 Sundancer 2004 engine room lift hatch is up in the open position.
The magnet sensor on the transom door looks like it is connecting. What else could it be?

Is there NO power going to the motor? Check fuse and/or test for power directly at motor. The magnet's leads may have been disconnected or broken - follow the wires (everywhere).
