Newest Update: I spoke with the mechanic who ran a computer test on the engine, which reported back no issues. He also checked fuel pressure and said it's where it should be. He said this specific model of engine's EFI runs very rich before it is up to temperature and begins to regulate as the engine gets up to temp. I probably never noticed it before when we had an open air slip or when I didn't back into the boat house we have now. With the boat backed into the boat house, there is no wind and i notice the exhaust and fuel smell more. He said there is nothing to be concerned about as everything checked out well. In times like these, I hope the professionals are correct.
