engine stall

Good Morning -

Took her for her first journey of the season for a 40 mile round trip to Jones Beach air show and upon returning to port, experienced engine stall (port) at idle speed. Restarted fine but concerned as to what this may come from. Purchased her in Maine July '08, brought her home to Long Island via Atlantic Ocean and she performed effortlessly with no complications. Engines have 250 hrs (purchased w/175 hrs) No history as to when her last tune up was. Changed oil and water/fuel separator filter upon winterization.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hello ,

I am new to this site. I am having the same problem with my 2005 260 Sundancer. At an idle for a while an alarm will sound and the smartcraft system display shows " Loss of engine communication". I had the engine tuned up for the first time at the end of last year and the problem started after tuning the engine up. The engine never stalled before and I've owned the boat since new. Any help would be great as I don't know why it is doing this.
