I know this has come up a lot but I thought I’d share my install of the ebay Eva foam decking. I used floor underpayment to template it, traced with sharpie, and free hand cut it to size. If you cut it at an angle you get a nice edge with the black exposed. I should be able to install it this weekend, I’ll post more pics then. The material is extremely waterproof and the moisture beads right off. If this goes well I’m going to do the whole cockpit. Have to credit @The Bill Collector for the inspiration after seeing his pictures around the site

Looks good. I have a roll of it that I need to install on my swim platform. I just need the little thing called time.

looks good, after seeing your project I decided to do the floor in the cabin on my 290 AJ. I think it looks great for the whopping cost of $54.00 and about 2 hrs of my time. Thanks for the idea...

I don't have the link but I searched Eva Foam decking on google and a link where walmart was selling it. Comes in various colors. I ended up paying $54.00 for a sheet 34.5" x 92"....hope this helps. Instead of removing the old floor material i got a piece of foam under layment and cut into the right shape nd put it on the foam, that way I can easily remove it for cleaning.

Thanks to Glory Day’s for the suggestion. I did the same, picked up the sheet from WM and added foam backing so it can be removed. Hardest part is making a good template, space is tight when you’re kneeling on the actual template. All in all happy with the result for very little cost.
