Ever had that trip when everything falls apart. I bought my boat in September of 2017 and it was bone stock. PO did nothing to update or overall maintenance. Engines, wax and some cosmetic only. No problem we surveyed and knew what worked and what didn’t and fixed what we could, adjus price accordingly, but knew the future would produce repairs due to overall age. It’s what we do right? I am moving forward with updates but this weekend we got on the boat and the first thing that we find was the water supply valve on the Vacuflush master head failed. Of course no one has one so I ordered one and will wait. 20 minutes later a guest was showering and the bilge alarm went off and i found the pump in the sump box went out. Replaced. I saw the Guest head pressure swith on Vacuflush box won’t adjust, so I replaced it to be a preventative repair. As I’m cleaning up there the A/C pump starting howling and by the time I shut it off it’s froze up. Replaced. We went for a ride and the engines purred like a kitten. Finally good news!
Cummins was down last week fixing the resistor for the throttles and I had them do an injectors and valve adjustment. They said everything looked good and it was minor adjustments but what a difference! Feeling good about that we got back and tied up. We starting playing cards and heard the fresh water pump kicking in every 3 minutes. Now what! Finally found that the pressure relief valve blew on the hot water heater. I shut off the water pump and hot water heater. I quit the day and I’m going to bed! They break just floating in the slip!
