I noticed today that when on muffs there is way more water out the right side of the drive whereas the left side sputters water intermittently. Its a 2008 3.0 with Alpha drive. Is this normal?

Yes that's normal. If you have excellent water pressure it will be less noticeable. No issues when in water with temps right? Exhaust risers are warm but can be touched on both sides? Left side exhaust runs 10-15 degrees warmer usually.

Correct, no temp issues at all. Thanks for the reply.

Because you have an inline engine, as opposed to a "V", you only have one exhaust tube feeding down into those two exhaust ports that you saw. Water will take the path of least resistance. If you tilt the boat one way or the other, it will tend to come out the "low" side (whichever way it's tilted). So, one day you might see most of the water coming out the port side, the next day it might be the starboard side.

Kinda what I figured but just wanted to be sure. Thanks for the detailed explanation.
