Factory Tour

How is a boat this big delivered to the west coast? truck? Ship? Rusty taking a trip through the canal?

Congrats on the 510.....we got a chance to see boat number one at Knoxville and I love the Skyflow design, and everything about the boat. The boat is extremely quiet inside even at speed when the glass doors are closed, and the bow rise is so little you never lose sight. Post some delivery pictures when you get it. df

Great Choice! Many happy adventures

A very expensive truck ride. Though, I tried to calculate what it would cost to take her by water through the canal. My estimates were close to $40K in fuel alone!

what about a yacht transport co that takes it by cargo ship through the canal - rob bought his 54' in fla and had it shipped via yachtpath (i think) tho australia.

That could be an option of course. But, the self-transport by sea was envisioned to be an adventure! I couldn't stand to wait as long as it would take to travel by sea if I wasn't in the boat myself.

Upgraded from a 2009 Bayliner 340SB. I think our sales guy was a little surprised at the bump. Definitely more than 2 feet! Pictures at the factory were not of our boat. Ours starts production in April.

Have been boating for many years, but the Bayliner was the first one we owned. And we used it well. Since we got it in the summer of 2010 we put 420 hours on her engines. She was great. We anticipate the 510 to be freaking awesome.

Boating runs in my family, I just learned. My grandfather built his own boat, shown here. Check out the chairs!

Props are from the new 650, I believe.
