I typically leave about 80 gallons between my two tanks at the end of every season which is just a little over a quarter thinking with whats going on in the world right now, would you fill the tanks up now in preparation for the up-and-coming boating season…… what say you?

I store full every fall.... I'd top them off asap.

I say fill them now. Then fill then after ever run this summer so mentality it will jot feel as bad when you are only topping off at higher prices. But, as I have said earlier if fuel keeps anyone from using there boats....don't own a boat.

I’m very much looking forward to burning $10/gallon fuel :)

good news is I am also full for the winter so we’re sitting on 300 gallons of $4.28/gallon fuel

had dinner and drinks with our dock mates last night and of course the conversations of slip rate increases and lake gas prices this coming year. I was surprised to hear one couple say they would get out of boating if the gas price even goes to $8!!!

The boat is what ra use to get rid of stress. Even working on it is very relaxing for me, so I plan on running her. Yet, we boat year round....so let's go boating!!!!

I am topping off at noon today, waiting for mid tide to transit the marina. Currently the price is $4.90 ($4.80) with our berther's discount. The marina just got a new delivery and the office gal told me yesterday that on Monday they will get the invoice and determine how much to bump the price so today is top off day. It is an investment more sure that buying gold at this point. I transferred full to top up the port tank and will take 150 gallons to top the starboard tank. I will be good for a while.
Carpe Diem

We’ll see >$5/gal average across the farm belt soon.

Middle class getting squeezed.

Everything is going according to plan.
Yep!
Squeeze the middle class into a decision between poverty and EV.

The longer you wait to buy fuel, the more you will pay.
