Hello to all,
I have been plying water in a boat for over fifty years but they have always been from a little skiff to a cuddy cabin I/O. I've been aboard and piloted the big ones up to 60' steel hull but never had one until now that has all this little pocket cabin cruiser has that will allow me to stay at the marina comfortably in out blazing heat of lower Alabama. I have don this with my cuddy cabins by a fan and lots of ice in the drain well but now I even have a full head..wow.
Being a retired teacher I never thought I could afford such a thing but this older 250 is in great shape (except for seats) and most systems are working like new.
I hope to dock it with shore power for overnighters then have it fork lifted to a rack for storage each trip.
I am so glad to have found this forum because oh boy do I have questions. I can offer answers to in many areas things like the water systems and what's going on with my partially failed 12v system mystery are yet to be solved.
Heading out on a 2 month boating trip in a few days, but will be in touch. I finally have a dream of decades..a cabin cruiser...however so humble and small, it is my tiny yacht.
