Although I've been lurking (a lot) and posting (occasionally) for the last couple of months, I finally took delivery of my new to me 2008 195 Sport. I know that for some of you with larger Sea Ray's this isn't much more than a dinghy, but I'm excited to own my first boat in nearly 20 years. It will live on a lift in a slip at Lake Anna (Virginia) and I'm really looking forward to spending a lot of time on the water this year.

I've learned enough from this forum to know that if there's not a picture it's not real, so here's a quick pic of the boat in it's new home.

Awesome! Congratulations!

I've done a fair amount of boating on Lake Anna. Enjoy your new boat, it is the perfect size for that lake.

It doesn't matter how big your dinghy is as long as the admiral is happy.

(First Mate's requirements are that it runs, floats, and carries beer.)

Congrats on your new toy!

It's not the size of the boat that matters, it's how much fun you have on board.

Nice looking boat. Now we need some photos of you using it.

Nice boat and nice setup with the covered slip and lift. I also went from a larger 30' cruiser to my little 185BR, it's just what fits for now - eventually we might get another big boat, but for now the little boat in dry storage works out well. Different boats and size for different people and situations - they all get us out on the water and that's what it is all about.

Great looking vessel! Best of luck with her!

Congrats and welcome to the club! Love Lake Anna, although surprisingly I've never been on a boat in the lake! You'll have a blast I'm sure.
