Does anyone have a quick way of finding marinas in an area that sell diesel fuel? I would like to start on the Magothy river in MD, but I would like to be able to know how to find them easily when planning trips.
Four Suns, thanks for the guide info, that is something that will definately come in handy.
Jeff, how do you like that marina? I am still shopping for an in-water slip.
We've only been there one season but have enjoyed it. It's a condo marina, but they also rent slips. There are no repair facilities or mechanic, but Ferry Point Marina is nearby and they do repairs and winter storage. They sell gas and diesel fuel year round.
Magothy has ice-eaters and you can winter in your slip if you like. The marina has a pool, showers, laundry, dinghy rack, etc, but no restaurant. It's not a resort marina, but it's a nice marina and the other slipholders are friendly.
bigduby, Depending on your GPS you should have a find button, then a list will come up for waypoints, marinas, anchorages, ect. Then select marinas and then fuel type. Most all the GPS's have this feature. Good luck!
