flushing motor, problem or not?

i have a 4.3 alpha 1
when i am flushing, the right side of the drive has good flow of water coming out and the water is cool
the left side only spits water out and it is very hot

is this normal? should i get it checked out?

From what Ive seen they all do this - Ive only ever had a steady stream out of my starboard gimbal exhaust hole.
