I'm working on some electrical maintenance on the flybridge - adding a new radio, GPS and I decided to replace the old school terminal blocks and old corroded fuses at the same time.

While I was under the flybridge the other night and I noticed the plywood backing that holds the terminal blocks has detached from the fiberglass. I'll grab some pics tonight, if I can but I was wondering if anyone knows how the wood was originally fixed to the fiberglass? I didn't see any screws, but maybe they come in from the back/front side of the helm? The wood seems to be in ok shape and don't think it needs replacing, but want to put it back, so it's not hanging in space for obvious reasons.

It was glued in place with resin if it is original. If not original anyone's guess. Depending on how thick the dash is perhaps screwed in place from behind the dash. Use drill bit stop collars to set depth of the hole being drilled.
