My fresh water pump continusly runs when i turn on the breaker. It can't seem to build up enough pressure to get water to the faucet. I'm away from the boat for another week and was going to order a new pump. Anyone have this problem and is replacing the pump what needs to be done or is there something else i should check before buying a new pump? It was working up till now.

There is a filter between the fresh tank and the pump, that could have a build up and not letting water get to the pump. It’s right at the pump.... I would check that first.

Would that cause the pump to run non stop or just restrict the water flo?

If the pump doesn’t get water, because it’s clogged, yes, either that or it’s a bad pump, imo
I think I have original filters on the boat. If yours are the same as mine the filter case is held in place with a screw at the bottom. I put an O ring on the crew and a dap of Silicon plumber lubricant (Not plumber grease) it is clear paste and comes in a small container Home Depot has it. I also put it on the top of the case. That solved the problem. I needed to turn the pump on and off a few times before it got suction.

If this is the first time you are using the boat this year, it's relatively common to open the pressure relief valve on the hot water heater to help with drainage. If that was never closed (some will leave it open all winter, which is fine). The water will exit through the relief valve thru-hull before it goes anywhere else.

Does your water tank level go down?

No the tank stays full. IT worked after the winter. I ran it empty then refilled it with fresh water. Sometime after that it stopped working If it was the water heater it would be losing water now while I’m hooked up to the dock water

OK, if the tank is staying full, then continue with the other suggestions.
