Fresh water pump

I have a 1995 330DA and my fresh water pump will pulsate off and on intermittently every 2-3 minutes. I have looked high and low for a leak and have not found one ( which is good ), all faucets are off, but cannot get it to stop. Is the pump bad ? is there a filter in these sureflow pumps that get clogged and need cleaned? short of replacing the pump what options are there ?

I was researching the same problem last year. Yes, check the filter. Also check for any leaks at the water inlet/back flow valve. It may not allow the system to pressurize. I never got to the bottom of mine. We'll see this year.

Should be a filter right at the pump, it gets mucked up. Also does it do it all the time? Mine does that when the tank gets low. I don’t have a gauge but that’s when I know the tank is getting low. My .02

I found a tiny leak in the transom shower hose, also check the ice maker. I removed my filter at the pump, don't use it for drinking anyway. Good luck

The pumps have a built in check to hold the pressure in the system. If the check valve has gone bad and can't hold pressure the pump will cycle. Could just have some gunk in it or failed completely.
