We are new Sea Ray owners. We purchased a 94 220 Signature. It has the transom shower faucet and another faucet with a sink on the console. The previous owners never used either one of these features. But we'd like to. Problem is, the owners manual talks about a fresh water tank, how to fill it, how to clean the filter.... BUT GIVES US NO INFO ON WHERE THE SUCKER IS! Haha. Ive searched the web and YouTube and can find nothing. Any info would be helpful. Thank you!

Are you looking for the actual tank or the filler location? You should have a cap located somewhere along the gunwales of your boat that looks just like a gas cap. But it should be amidship, not too close to the stern, I believe. It'll require the same "key" to open as the gas cap.

Do you see any silver or stainless steel caps the look anything like what I've described above??

FWIW you may want to bleach/shock your tank a couple times before drinking from it. Particularly if the prior owner never really used it. Could be a little gnarly in there.

You can sorta see what a fresh water filler cap will look like in this photo. It's the flush cap half way up the side of the boat.

Worth noting, if you have a pump-out head, the pooper pump hole will look the same as well. It's pretty important you know the difference between where the good stuff goes in and the bad stuff comes out. :)

The boat does not have an on-board pooper. LOL So, I think I'm safe. I'll for the filler cap. But it says I should clean the filter. Where would that be? I can't be the manual does not tell you this stuff!

Just went out and checked all over the deck of the boat. No filler cap. I don't know where to go from here

my 1998 215EC had a round inspection plate in the deck....the fresh water tank was under this inspection plate....I had to remove the inspection plate to get to the filler hole on top of the tank....

the inspection plate may be under the deck carpet.....

Some of the older brochures were generic owner's manuals, covering more than one model. So the information would (should) be there - also about the water pump filter (which is simply a cleanable SS mesh located at the pump). But the exact locations would be up to the owner to locate.

If you don't see a deck plate around the top sides somewhere, do like Cliff mentioned and look for a plastic deck plate in the cockpit floor - in front of or behind the ski locker, maybe. It's gotta be on the centerline if it's mounted under the floor - no room outboard of the stringers. The only place I can think of is at one aft corner or the other. But in the end, it's gotta be within 22' of you, no matter where you are in the boat! It's definitely accessible - just start looking a little closer.
