Twin 480 Cummins w/Zeus pods
Just bought a 2010 450 sundancer from Florida and bright back to Michigan. I need to replace the zincs with freshwater ones but I’m having trouble finding the correct ones online. I have one on the transom and one on each of the trim tabs. The ones currently on my trim tabs are large square ones but the replacement for freshwater seem to be smaller oval ones. Just wonder if these are correct? It’s a 2010 450 with 480 Cummins with Zeus pods.
Thanks

The shape is not that important my tabs have the half moon style above and below the tab.
If a "large rectangle" it could be on top or just anywhere not going to cause drag.
But in fresh water you want magnesium or pure aluminum "anodes" (not made of zinc)

Actually after looking a bit harder I need magnesium for fresh water only. Still can’t find these in magnesium.

Really depends on the body of water. In my area, fresh water, aluminum will let an outdrive corrode, has to be magnesium. Check with some locals what they use.

Everyone uses magnesium, that’s what I’ve had on all my past boats. This boat just has a different kind that are on the trim tabs and I was having trouble finding the size/shape that it has now. It in magnesium. I was Just was looking for same as it has now but in magnesium so that the holes match up.
