Hi all,

Yesterday while I was getting ready to go out my sink water was working. Then all of a sudden it stopped. I turned the pump off and on a couple of times to no avail. Then I noticed that the tank was empty. I suspect my detailer ran it dry or close to and I did not notice.

No biggie, I thought and I filled the tank again. When I did, I turned on the pump again and no water came out. Is there something I need to do to prime the pump? I don't think I have ever let it run completely empty before.

thanks!

If it went empty, it could just be air in the lines. Open all spigots with the water pump on to get the air out and water should start to flow.

Might want to also check the little strainer before the pump. If you ran the tank dry, you may suck up some of the crud that lingers on the bottom of the tank, it can easily clog the tiny plastic strainer with a screen mesh in it. Technically, it's not crud, it's called black goop according to the admiral.
