Hey to the all knowing Sea Ray owners on the forum, I seek your infinite wisdom once again. I have two gages that have the needle caps coming loose or falling off. Has anyone taken apart the gage to access the face where I might be able to simply re-glue the caps and if you have, any suggestions on the procedure

Standard teleflex gauges like picture shown?

They are sealed from the front with a pressed on ring best I can recall, and the only way I've ever opened one was to cut it open from the back. Not successful in getting it put back together (but didn't really try too hard either lol)

They are pretty cheap to replace ($50 each ), and they occasionally do go bad (especially the tach's which are unreliable at best). If a tach, consider Aetna's. Lots of info on here about the tachs.

If an LCD type, try --> https://gaugesaver.com/

Sorry had to get to the computer to upload the image. Couldn't figure how to do it on the phone. Should show on the original post now.

Just went through the search for some one that has the where with all to fix these things; ain't no body. My issue is with a 4 in one guage. Called every instrument place I knew and a bunch they referred me to. Their advice was to replace.

Replacing is a little overkill for a small piece of trim that just had the glue fail. It’s off a 2014, I doubt I could find a matching replacement. To replace all the gages just to match would be crazy.

I see your issue...that’s annoying as hell. Problem is these gauges are usually sealed to prevent moisture getting in and getting it apart and then resealed may be impossible.

Maybe call SeaRay customer service and see if they will help out with a replacement?
