Hello, Looking at a 2007 52 Sundancer that spent it's first 10 years on Clear Lake just off of Galveston Bay. Since 2017 it has been on the gulf side of Florida.
Should I look at it as being in salt water it's entire life or brackish (for 10), is that even any better ???
I can certainly see signs of salt atmosphere from the last 4-5 years, not horrible but it's there.
It would be going to fresh water in Tennessee.
I know, survey etc. etc. Just gathering info. Thanks !!
P.S. If this goes into a salt water discussion, I have another option close by... no transport etc. A 2005 500 Sundancer (basically the same boat) Two owner with a known local fresh water history... so no transport etc. BUT it does not have a hydraulic swim platform and that "was" one of my must have's. Two quotes on a platform, $38k and $45k :-o Would certainly be upside down in the 2005 unless I kept it 10+/- years.
By the time I got the 2007 to me they will be about the same cost (2007 is actually cheaper)
