I found this picture online of an older 370da with a gangway installed. Looks interesting. Anyone have one?

Andrew, I can see the picture was taken in Italy. We have this problem with American boats as usually American designers are not really concerned with thinking of a gangway... I have a carbon fiber one also that I can fold and store in the cockpit behind the aft bench. It's a good solution since the swim platform is totally uncluttered for when you are using it. But sometimes your transom sit so lower than the dock that you cannot place the gangway on it!
Many Italian boats carry an hydraulic gangway that will be just in the middle of your platform. like that:

I hate it!

If you need some ideas you may want to have a look at this brokerage Italian site. lots of pics there!

I've always seen them on boats from other countries. I guess they don't have docks between slips and everyone HAS to back in. Probably works better than hopping up and over or down into a boat from the dock.

Don, thanks for the info - yours looks great.

Pietro, the one in your photo does really get in the way of the swim platform area. But, the decoration on top of the swim ladder is rather nice.

I really like the look of the aluminum and teak units from Opacmare.com. I can only imagine the price though...
