I am helping a friend install a Garmin 740S in his 2002 460. He already has a Raymarine plotter/radar and autopilot factory installed. He thinks the radar is an RL-80.
I've got two questions. First, has anybody connected a Garmin Gps to an RL-80 system? If so can you share the 0183 settings that work for you?
Also, when configuring the waypoint data for the Autopilot do the older Raymarine units use "names" or "numbers" for the output config?
