Garmin 7608XSV. Can my 7.4 MPIs be hooked up to it?

Have just acquired a Garmin 7608 and wondered if there is an output on my 7.4 MPIs to hook up to? The GPS unit is Network Capable.

Nope, sorry. You need to convert the engine sensor data to NMEA 2000 protocol and integrate to the NMEA 2000 network. I believe your engines are pre-Smartcraft so the use of a specialized converter can't be done. I think you would be relegated to something like the Noland RS11 which is what I use for my Cat's.

Oh well.....was a thought....I knew the MPI had a computer and watched the survey agent download data but didn't know if it would communicate with the Garmin or if it was even compatable with the NMEA 2000. Thanks
