gas shock for engine cover

Does anyone know what the pressure is for the shock that holds the engine cover up? I mistakenly ordered the shock with 40 lbs of pressure that that seems way too much.Outfitters offers 10, 20, 30 and 40 lb units.

Good question Stan, I’d like to add a gas shock to my engine cover, and don’t really know what size to get. My Weekender didn’t come with a lift support.

Thanks Woody. 40 seems like a lot, but if that's what's called for that's what I'll go with.

I went with the 40 lb shock and it seems to be what was needed.
