Went to put some diesel in at the gas dock on Saturday. The dock guy was flustered with a large amount of boats coming in. He proceeded to pump petro into our boat. He only put in 2.4 gallons before it was realized. I contacted my boat guru and he said to put another 50-75 gallons of diesel in to dilute the gas. Also added a treatment.

Is there anything I need to be concerned with? Long term effects?

It's diluted, I wouldn't worry about it as its a small amount.

BTW, I always fuel my own boat.

Around here they won't pump gas for you. They hand you the nozzle, I believe, b/c if there's a spill they have some degree of plausible deniability.

Yep, dilute it as much as you can with diesel and go boating. You are fortunate that there is only a few gallons in a very big tank.
We used to cut the diesel with kero to improve cold weather flow in below zero temperatures in our equipment. If it got really cold, we would go as much as 20% gasoline. Your mechanical cats will never know a percent or two. If it were I, I would be sure to add some lubricity, just as your "guru said, but you should be doing that anyway.
