Anyone have one? I'm doing the final install on my new gauges and I'd like to see a schematic or get someone to confirm colors at least for the gauge wiring. What I thought was right doesn't jive with the manual. Common sense says the manual is right...
For instance, I'm looking for the basics like Purple is the "I" Ignition wire and is daisy chained between all of the gauge's "I" post.
Purple wire from under the right side of the dash, is it the same as the purple wire that comes up from underneath the center of the harness? I'm having a hard time tracing it. My suspicion is that it comes from the key switch up in the center and goes down back to the engine on the right.

Blue wires - 12vdc for gauge lights
Black - Ground
Water Temp - Light Blue (manual says tan)
Tach Signal - Gray
Voltage - Beige (Manual says orange)
Trim - Brown w/ white tracer

Oil Pressure gauge signal wire color? Manual says light blue.

Hour Meter - Best wire to hook to? Purple? I'd like to have it only measure hours when the motor is running. Tach signal wire somehow? Factory went to the tach and I now have them separated.

Thanks for any help.

Should be all set now. I went by the wiring in the Merc manual. I'm sure I transposed a cpl looking at the gauges upside down taking them out.
Here they are now all permanently wired in. I had to change from ring terminals to spade connections on most of the cluster. All I have left is to hook up the gps antenna and the hour meter.
