Ran across this issue today. I'm running on the generator and after ten or fifteen minutes my AC quits and puts up the code AC-LO on my display. If I shut off the AC wait a few seconds and then turn it back on it only runs 10 minutes and then shuts back down again. Anyone ever have this issue?

Sorry, I realize I didn't post much info but it was all I had. We are at a Metro Park and they have their power turned off. I should be able to figure more out in the morning when I get back to my marina. Thanks for the replies and I'll let everyone know what the problem is once I figure it out. HOPEFULLY something simple. Thanks again

I had this issue last year .
Generator was not putting out enough voltage.
Wound up being a bad capacitor in the generator 60$ part.
I have a Westerbeke Gen.

Thanks for the reply. I really haven't had a chance to dig into this yet, but after talking to some friends by me this is the first thing I'm going to try. They had the same problem and the same fix as you. Thank again everyone. I'll try to update once I figure this out.

I've also had the same issue. When it happens you should be able to see on your AC output gauges that you're running something less than 110V. Mine was hovering at 90-100 which was enough to keep the AC from starting.

In a pinch - fire up a burner on the stove, it'll likely kick the generator output back to 110V. Then start the AC, turn it down super cold and enjoy...until it can be properly repaired.
