generator problem

have a kohler 5kw gas generator. runs for 5 secs then get uu fault code. checked impeller, fuses cant seem to figure out what it could be have no idea can some one give me some help. or ides Thanks Jim

UU fault code is under voltage. Manual says generator will shut down when voltage drops below 80% of rating for 10 seconds. Make sure there is no load on the circuit (ie: turn off your AC, water heater, outlets, all breakers) before starting. If it persists, call for service.

I had the same issue when I bought the boat. The dealer replaced the battery connected to the genny and the issue was fixed.
