Hmmm... Onset... I think I remember pulling in there on a sailing trip (29' Pearson) from Brooklyn to Friendship, ME about 14 years ago. It's right before the Cape Canal, right?
Our engine (Atomic 4) was acting up and we had my uncle drive down from ME with a little 9.9 Johnson that we mounted on the transom while in one of the slips there.
Pretty little town, Onset is!
Have a good trip! I imagine your trip will be a faster one than ours was... considering you've got a bit more HP! :smt101

Onset is a beautiful little town. Been there many times. My cousin lives there on Blueberry St.
It looks like you are going between two green markers. Is that correct?

Yes, Onset is a nice spot! It's located just at the west end entrance to the cape cod canal. We were heading out into Buzzards Bay by way of Hog Island Channel. The Green Can marks the entrance into Onset. If you are coming in keep a watch on the current as you are rounding --- depending on the tide it gets going pretty good, and there's a huge rock pile right at the Day Marker! But it's not that bad of an approach. If you are looking for a great Pizza order one from Marc Anthony's. They deliver to the marinas in the area.
