Pirate, don't ya just love having a boat that has lots of creature comforts!

Can you imagine their ride at 50mph in a hard rain?

Not for me!

Showing some age here. LOL. Heck my friends Chaparral with the air conditioning and the generator running will go near 60 miles an hour.

The faster boats in our area top over 100 miles an hour now.

We have our fair share of go fasts on the island…. But damn this weekend was all about huge center consoles 50’ plus ….never seen so many…. Seems to be the new look at me boat

Some with four or five outboards. They are faster than the so called go fasts…

We've got several with trips and quads up to 1800hp slipped at SB, back in the day the 440s 750hp w/twin 3208Ts was impressive. Today, not so much.

I'm good for 20-30kn most of the time. Max, I like to absorb my experience, about the journey not the destination. IMHO

Cigar/Cigaratte boats were poplular "runners" in the day, I've been on a few. Scare the hell out if ya at times.

But, to each his own, just boat safely.
