Okay, the river where I and a few others CSR's boat has been closed for almost a month now. We have had flooding almost all Spring, I have cleaned and waxed everything on the boat. The river is dropping, I hope to be out on the water again soon. If it doesn't open soon, I may buy an RV...

now let's not do any thing drastic......like buy an RV. I know it has to be tough for you guys up there. I am sorry and hope the Rivers go down soon, what a pain huh? You can bring your boat on down to Table Rock. We have friends that live in St Louis and Kansas City that drive down. We would be glad to have ya!!

I wonder how much it would cost to have the boat hauled down to Tablerock. It is really nice there. How is the 310? We have been happy with our 320. Wife and I are hoping to take a week off soon and stay out on the water.

At least you could get to yours to clean it! I can finally make it to my boat so Fri. night I'll be cleaning things up in hopes of going out sometime this weekend. I'm going to take the dink with me so I can at least go for a boat ride around the marina...

If I can't go out I'll be installing my new chartplotter. I'm not getting my hopes up to much though, once they open the river back up it'll probably rain every weekend for a month... It's just depressing...

I love love my boat!!! We paid $1000.00 to have ours hauled from Lake of the Ozarks to Table Rock. If you decide you want to move let me know I can get you some numbers. We dock at a public marina in Kimberling Ciy it's $2500.00 a year. It's definately nothing fancy, we have dockside fresh water and electric. The basics. We love Table Rock the water is clear and clean, no Ecoli problems here. Even with it being way over full right now.

I hope you do get to take a week off and stay on your boat, I am betting it's a beautiful boat. I wish I could take a week off to stay on my boat, but my kids all hate going to the Lake....I don't know what's wrong with them. I am thinking I may not be their real MOTHER.

Our dog passed away about 3 weeks ago as well. So, we have been lost. The dog loved the boat. She was 13 years old and as soon as we started packing for the weekend, she would be standing at the back door. The dog had Addisons Disease for 7 years. So, we enjoyed the time we had with her.

Sorry to here Sushi passed! Thats a real same.

I'll let you borrow my dog for a while...She's wearing us both out! I've never seen anything this small with this much energy!

Thank you both. My wife and I are both kinda lost.

That's they way we felt last fall when our cat passed. I lasted about 2 months before I had to have another pet. So far so good. it's the only chihuahua I know of that loves being on the boat! It's still yet to be seen how she does at swimming.

It's hard, I think we will wait till winter for another pet.

Well good news - our river opened today. The USCG announced it's opening! If not RiverRat and I were going to start driving to other parts of the country and start crashing dock parties...

Sorry to hear of the loss of your dog, skolbe. We've had dogs for eons; the last one we lost was a cute beagle who loved to chase trucks, until she finally caught one -- buried her up in the woods behind the house. We're now on our third second dog, a male mountain cur who was a rescue dog like our first, a female whippet-terrier (I think) mix. We took them both out on the Dancer for a sundown cruise on Sunday. Zoe enjoys it, and Bart hasn't quite figured it out yet.

Glad to hear you've been released to boat once again. I was about to suggest you consider renting a boat somewhere that water levels are 'just right', not too floody and not too low. We've rented (some call it chartering) from Canada to Florida to England, as well as on several of our local lakes, and enjoy the change of scenery.

Skolbe: I feel your pain regarding the darn river level. Here in WA, the big rivers are open, but the water has been so high that there are very few beaches that our kids can play on. There are huge trees floating down the Columbia too, so navigating the river is challenging. Aside from high water, what are your river conditions? Is commercial traffic barred from the river too?

And it rained practically the whole month of June here in washington. Makes it hard to have fun when when the family is cold and wet. Now the the weather is nice, we are on the lake a couple of times a week.

Theres some debrit coming down the river, some naturally some from cleanup efforts by home owners. They've had the river open to commercial traffic for a week now but they've had a no wake ristriction in effect. Time to do a bit of discovery this weekend and find out where our beaches got washed to and see where the new ones will be. It should be interesting...

I just know I need my itch to go boating scratched!

The river has been high all season. We are thinking that our season is really getting started this year.

Thanks all for the support with the dog.
