Sold the cruiser and looking for a smaller trailer queen. I found an '89 CC. It has new leg, bilge pump, blowers, great interior and trailer. I haven't seen but pics look good. Of course I'll know more then

$5000?? Is this a good deal?

I had one ( bow rider version) pay extra attention to the floor. If soft at all, be wary as it indicates rot that could invlove the stringers etc.

Sold my 89' 200CC 5 years ago for $3800. Bought it in 1995 for $9K.
Watch the wood floor, wood in the engine compartment as well. It gets wet
very easily, and unless covered or stored indoors, may be in need of repair.

If everything is in at least fair shape (including trailer) - doesn't need anything major, that price is fine. Water test it if possible. At a bare minimum, do a compression test.

Thanks for the advice. It has a brand new outdrive under 3 hours. I'll make sure to check all the flooring. We'll do water test as well. Still not sure on the hours. I'm calling him today for more info and the mechanics contact info to get the skinny on all the maintenance. Here's some pics.

I also found a 1996 Thunderbolt 20 ft CC(I know...it's not a Sea Ray). $7200 price incl trailer. It's really clean from the pics and has a low hour 260 mercruiser with new intake and carb. Not too sure about this brand and I know they're out of production. I checked NADA and they don't even have record of them built past the 80's. Can't seem to find any more info on the internet either. I do like the idea of a newer boat at this price.

Looks like a nice clean boat. Like, mentioned take a look at the flooring and under belly interior really good. Those carpeted floors tended to hold a lot of moisture.

What motor ? Mine had the 4.3 V6 and did okay...5.7 V8 would be better.

looks really nice and clean, I have a 1988 bowrider 2003 mercruiser 260hp v8 really fast boat, I love it.

check to floor beacuse the carpet holds a lot of moisture and my boat had that problem when i bought it but is all good now.

love my first boat"

by the way the boat cost me 6500 last summer
