The following is a compilation of the hypocrisy that is destroying the fabric of our beloved republic. I fear there is no turning back. We can either learn to live with the new reality and just smile or we can stew, bitch and moan about it. I've decided to just limit my exposure to media and enjoy the time I have left on this rock.
Not my creation, just though I'd share because from my perspective its right on.


We have become a nation that has lost its collective mind !



-If a dude pretends to be a woman, you are required to pretend with him.


-Somehow it's un-American for the census to count how many Americans are in America .


-Russians influencing our elections are bad, but illegals voting in our elections are good.


-It was cool for Joe Biden to "blackmail" the President of Ukraine, but it's an impeachable offense if Donald Trump inquires about it.


-Twenty is too young to drink a beer, but eighteen is old enough to vote.


-People who have never owned slaves should pay slavery reparations to people who have never been slaves.


-Inflammatory rhetoric is outrageous, but harassing people in restaurants is virtuous.


-People who have never been to college should pay the debts of college students who took out huge loans for their degrees.


-Immigrants with tuberculosis and polio are welcome, but you'd better be able to prove your dog is vaccinated.


-Irish doctors and German engineers who want to immigrate must go through a rigorous vetting process, but any illiterate gang-bangers who jump the southern fence are welcome.


-$5 billion for border security is too expensive, but $1.5 trillion for free health care is not.


-If you cheat to get into college you go to prison, but if you cheat to get into the country you go to college for free.


-People who say there is no such thing as gender are demanding a female President.


-We see other countries going Socialist and collapsing, but it seems like a great plan to us.


-Some people are held responsible for things that happened before they were born, and other people are not held responsible for what they are doing right now.


-Criminals are catch-and-released to hurt more people, but stopping them is bad because it's a violation of THEIR rights.


And pointing out all this hypocrisy somehow makes us "racists" ?!

Great list. Here's a few more.

- Taxes are too high; I'm going to move elsewhere and vote for more taxes.
- What part about "keep your hands where I can see them" did you fail to understand?
- I can tolerate any idea that agrees with my own.
- The difference between a riot and a peaceful protest is determined by your ideology, not your actions.

I love our country but afraid of what it might look like in 5 years. The 'every kid gets a trophy' generation is here and they all want their reward without earning it and MSM and the Dems are egging them on. If this continues there will be no reason to work hard to keep up with the Jones's. The harder you work the more they will take from you to give the the ones that aren't willing to work hard.
Step-son is a supervisor at a plastics manufacturing plant and they can't keep workers. They pay well and the work isn't hard. He has been there about 10 years and makes about $60k. They start out at about $14/hour but have lots of overtime available and the ability to move up. He gets a $500/year bonus for perfect attendance. Now they started offering a $500 bonus if a new hire has perfect attendance for 2 months. He said 3/4's of them have already lost the bonus because they couldn't show up every day for 2 months. So for a $500 bonus you mean to tell me you can't go 2 months without missing a day? They hired a new teacher at my wifes school. Wife has known her for a few years and said she wouldn't make it. They have been there for 1 week and she already has said she might have to miss 2 weeks because of COVID and the 3rd day of school she started asking how many sick days she had.

It’s called the entitlement generation. The Greatest Generation did too good a job making America the most prosperous county in the world making us the envy of the planet. The Baby Boomers came along and enjoyed that gift and then raised the X generation as their ‘best freinds’ with no consequences for poor performance or behavior so their kids wouldn’t hate them. And this is what it got us!! Thank you very much!!

You say taxes are too high, that’s correct, let’s go back to the tax levels of 1950, when rich people paid more, and the working class paid less...

Trump lies everyday? Now that’s funny. The fact checkers are watching every word that comes out of Trumps mouth and the liberal news is more than happy to report on anything that’s even close to being untrue.

If every word any human says is fact checked every day, we all lie every day. I once knew a man that prefaced every story with “ you won’t believe this” and I didn’t. What a liar. Great worker, very smart, very reliable and I would hire every clone I could find, his BS notwithstanding. I am very happy I hired Trump...

ok. Everyone who wants to go back to the 50's, raise your hand. Good times. In any case, I didn't say taxes were too high. I was pointing out the hypocracy of those who flee high tax areas and then vote for more when they get where they are going.

A little bit spring loaded on the tax thing?

What's funny is people who are jealous of the rich and/or are socialist scum always yell about how the rich need to pay more than the lower income earners. They already do. Exponentially more.

Most days I look at the "new post" column and see if there are any topics I would like to read. On several, after looking, I just click "mark forums read" and move on.

Point is, if one doesn't like the topic, or thread, they do not have to read or participate. It's just that simple.

I've never liked the idea of censorship. And those who are truly open minded would oppose it as well.
 
Anyone that would like to take the points that were made in the OP and refute their veracity, have at it and we can have a lively conversation about your IQ. The Tiki Bar is for just this, a fun place to discuss the topics of the day outside of our boating problem threads.
I’m with Capt Ronn, I look at the CSR new posts several times a day to entertain myself and reply to posts that interest me and that I think my input may be constructive. I admit I have posted a snarky comment or two but where’s the harm. On the other hand after awhile some of the threads like George Floyd have so many replies and the same thoughts just get churned over and over, I just ignore it eventually.
In any event I enjoy passing along tidbits that I happen on mostly because I think it will be enjoyed by my ‘fellow travelers’.
