Great Reading 8/07 to 8/10

I have a '97 330 Sundancer and have lurked around here for about three years.

The Admiral has fallen in love with my neighbor's 1992 Sea Ray 440 Express Bridge with 3116 cats showing less than 500 hours. Because of the well presented knowledge here over the last several years I have screwed-up the courage to make an offer on a boat with 3116s-something I thought I would never do. Yes, the offer will be contingent on tests, trials and surveys.

If anything comes of it I'll be back; I'm sure with many questions.

I just wanted to comment on how much I have enjoyed reading this forum. Thanks!

If I can be of help, let me know. Iv'e owned a 1995 440 EB since 2003 (with 3116's) and have come to know the boat very well.

Randy, thank you for your kind offer. I dock on the Root River just up stream from where it emptys into Lake Michigan. Downtown Racine, WI. We had a Silverton 402 aft with Crusader 502s. I got out of boating ----- I THOUGHT! That is until THE ADMIRAL said , nope! The good news is I got out at the top; just before the boat market went in the dumpster. After one year I bought the SD 330 thinking that will keep her happy. Wrong! Now we are very tentatively looking to get back in with something 38' or larger.
The 440 EB is the right size and appears to be fairly easy to move around on with 70+ legs.
