Guts?...Nuts?...Big nads?..Just watch!

That is crazy, were do they find people to do that.. circus?

Ahhh my 260 can do that...., not! Nuts

I would like to see a close up of how they are locking the steel plate at the end of the excavator arm, so one can climb a pole with a track mounted excavator. That must be some thick and damn strong steel, especially to hold the excavator extended out while he rotates the track assembly around up in the air.

He has got to be easily over 50 feet up in the air. :wow:

guyz got skillz....

The real questions is... why the heck did anybody think of doing that??? it looks like a German company, maybe a few beers helped them get creative?

That building in the background is Vienna's City Hall- except in German the word for city hall is "Rathaus". Could you ever come up with a more appropriate word for a governmental building?

I was more amazed at how the treds stayed in place while he was repositioning the arm higher on the tower. Without some fastening of the treds to the tower the excavator would have fallen backwards since all the weight would have been behind the point of tred contact.

True, I was wondering how he was going to do that until I saw how he tipped the front of the track up to lock into some sort of bracket. The only way he could climb it also was those outriggers with dozers parked on them!

I don't care how well engineered it was, the guy still has stones! What about the guy with the microphone standing under it??????
