Hanging Pictures - What are you using?

The wife has been decorating the boat, and now wants to hang some pictures. I cringe at drilling holes for a not so permanent installation, so what is everybody using?

I found a Command brand velcro wall hanger on Amazon.

Does anybody have experience with this? Do you think it will hold up to vibration and sea conditions?

3M (who else?) makes hooks that stick to practically anything and can be removed without making a mess. Available at any home center. That's what I have used to hang picks on the teak, varnished walls in our boat.

We have a picture in the salon hanging from those hangers. So far so good. Been up for over a year

Amen to that! I've used 'em on the boats, in the house, garage. They do work great and don't damage the surface behind them.

I may need to re-pitch the props to support all my new found decoration weght, at least the officer in command will be happy. Thanks for the confirmation on 3M

command strips work very well just a few tips though prep the surface good with rubbing alcohol and when the instruction say press and hold found that to be the critical step hold twice as long as they recommend first time I did the job they came off mid season.....

.......:smt043........i am going through the same thing right now......we have only had our boat since last November and with warmer weather finally getting here the Admiral has hit full stride 'personalizing' the boat.....
