Not much of a black friday type, but I like the good electronics sale as much as the next geek. I usually opt for "sleeping in" over getting up at 3am to fight with people over $12 USB drives.
This year was no different. However, when I got to best buy at 3pm, I was surprised to find the store PACKED with merchandise and nearly EMPTY of shoppers. There were still stacks of door buster goodies clogging the aisles. Sure, some items (like $300 obsolete laptops) were gone; but lots of other stuff was still around.
Staples was a bit more stripped at 4pm, but over half of the "6-10am" doorbuster items were still in plentiful supply. And they were honouring the doorbuster price.
Is it this way all over?
