Good for Tucker …. I always liked the guy ….. I heard most of his staff came with him to start his own Network
You watched the interview ? Tucker sit there like a naive kid and listened well behaved to putin,s show .
Putin is a pro in manipulations and celebrating out of context picked half thruths .
He played tucker like a violine or the entire interview was orchestrated .
No I didn’t see it

I watched it. Understanding the reputation of Putin. He had every right to be nervous. I thought he did throw a couple questions that surprised Putin. Especially about the imprisoned journalist.
I watched it also. Thought it intriguing and saw a stark difference between leaders. Think our leadership could carry an intense structured dialog like that?

Nah ... cmon . That was just a propaganda show where tucker was used . With simple tricks .
Putin tried to justify the ukraine war with some historical explanations digging far back in history .

With this approach you can say you need to give back entire usa back to the indians .
That was imho not a dialog or any kind of serious discussion .

I see a stark difference in, call it, mental acuity, between ours and theirs. It would be telling if Carlson would do a similar interview with our leader. Tucker Carlson used? Regarding the difference i agree with you but honestly i think no serious western leader would offer tucker a political interview . For putin it was a chance to spread his visions into usa since carlson has a popularity .
Why wouldn't they interview with Carlson? Regardless, they (western leader) allow interviews albeit softball with agreeing hacks to a host of CNN "journalists". At least you'd get a perspective on both sides from one interviewer.
