Has anyone successfully used the vinyl/fabric paint on their headliner? Mine's in good shape, just dirty and a few stains. Thought if the dupli color or similar vinyl/fabric coating would give me good results it would be worth a try.

No....but I can tell you it's not that hard to take them out and put new fabric on them. I did that this winter and they look great. If you can't, once they are out and you buy the mat. I don't think a shop would charge much to change them out.

Yes, but before you do that, try some various cleaners you may already have. Then if need be, step up to a steam cleaner and/or a mild solution of bleach/water.

What type of headliner material do you have?

Ricky I'm going to do the same thing bought the dupli spray but going to spray area that can't be seen first see what it does also had people look to replace headliner cost wise it is not worth it

Call a automotive interior repair guy, they have dyes that will be more suitable than duplicolor and are made for carpeting and headliners. They can be sprayed on and brushed in.Also saw someone use a tornador steam cleaner on here last year.
