flora bama is a combination of the words florida and alabama and generally refers to the area between pensacola bay and mobile bay. The flora bama is also a famous bar that sits on the state line. The BP wsaterway was a joke because we have all been dry docked since May due to the OIL SPILL. If it happened in Lake Michigan our Chicago based Pres would have cared.

and chuck1 hiwassee river is close to my old stomping ground of Smokies. I live in Birmingham boat fresh water here salt water in Flora Bama and need a trout stream in NC mountains. And also Roll Tide Bama is No 1....in football at least.

Arkansas fan here...disappointed we lost, but still proud of the team and of the SEC in general. Glad that Alabama is in the SEC and that we get to play y'all every year. I'd rather be in the SEC and face nation-leading teams each week than anywhere else. Saban and Petrino are two of the nation's best coaches and I'm glad we have them in the SEC. Woo pig sooie!
so true. The hogs had their chances and let Bama off the hook. There is a reason why Bama is 1; they may get beaten by Fla next week but they are in a class by themself right now. Saban is the reason. all the others are fighting for second place.

Welcome! I live just outside of Montevallo but do my boating from a Fort Morgan base so I know the Flora-Bama. I cruised the boat yesterday to The Wharf marina and had a fantastic lunch at Guy Harvey's Grill.
