Help for Newbie

I am a new boat owner without much experience. I have a 1984 Sea Ray SRV-210. I noticed today that the engine was having trouble starting and when I looked at the engine I saw a crack in the rubber fitting. I have attached a picture. I am hoping it is just a standard rubber coupling I can get at Home Depot but I am not sure.

Can someone please look at the attached picture and try to give me some guidance on what I need to replace?

You will have to order the coupling. It connects the exhaust elbow to the y-pipe (which then exits through your drive housing). Yours looks similar to the one listed at the bottom of this page (although it says it's for a 3.7) -->http://www.sterndrive.info/sterndriveparts/exhaust_bellows.html

It appears that you will have to remove the riser to replace it, but hopefully someone else can pipe up here...

The coupling needs to be replaced, but it doesn't have anything to do with hard starting.
