I have a false high sea temp error and also depth issues so I'm guessing there's an issue with the transducer or wiring. Which of these 2 should I be looking at to repair or replace and what is the other one? Cleaning the bilge is also on the list...

Assuming you have only depth and temp, it looks like they are single function transducers. Do you have fishing sonar? How about speed in water (not gps speed)? One of yours looks removable so you should be able to pull it and see if something stops reporting or at least reporting differently than it was before removal. Also check for model numbers and google is your friend.

On my Garmin I can adjust the depth offset in the sonar menu not sure if you've tried that. FWIW do not turn on your chart plotter with the transducer connect when on the hard. Transducers overheat and fail quickly when not submerged as they depend on the surrounding water to stay cool.

Where are you receiving the temp error? Is that a SmartCraft error or on your MFD? I don't believe the 2 communicate so my guess is a sensor on the fresh water side of the engine is throwing the SC error. As for the transducers, remove the plug from the ring and unscrew the transducer, replacing it with the plug. I'd assume the forward one is depth since putting a paddle wheel in front of it would cause disruptions so make sure it's clean and foul free. Put some plumbing greese on the o-rings before re-installing. The other ducer should be a paddlewheel, you can still pull it and make sure it spins freely just re-install quickly. These are all assumptions as we don't know what displays you have and what it connected to the ducers. Perhaps a pic of your dash, electronics, gauges, etc would help too.
