help please with SmartView/NEMA2000

2004 SD 260 with a 6.2 and I cannot for the life of me find the 10 pin plug on the engine. I spent 45 minutes crawling all around that miserable engine (room? more like a compartment or torture space) looking for that plug. FWIW, I believe that my boat is actually a late 2003 manufacture-engine s/n 0m680488 My goal is to upgrade to an all in one chartplotter and feed it the engine data with a NMEA 2000 adapter so any advice on that is greatly appreciated. I would also like to replace the transducer with a DST810 and connect that to the tachometer.

Should have a purple cap on it and be right back around the distributor area but it does have a weather tight purple cover same shape as the plug itself it should just be hanging back there that's where mine was and mine's an '06
